Functionality of automating the down payment invoices creation

Recently, for one of our clients, we’ve created the additional functionality in SAP system, enabling the automatic creation of the down payment invoices, based on the information about payments coming from posted bank statements.

Our solution is in compliance with polish tax and financial law and SAP company recommendations, moreover it cooperates with CRM module and debt control functionality. This solution enables posting of several down payment invoices for each partial payment concerning proforma invoice and gives the possibility to control the value of the given proforma invoice with incoming payments from the client.

E.g., if the client has received the proforma invoice for 1000 EUR, but paid only 200 EUR, after posting this payment system will automatically generate the down payment invoice. The same will happen for the following partial payments until the client pays full amount from all the proforma invoices for the given order. Then the sales order will be automatically unblocked and outbound delivery will be created.

Additionally, we’ve implemented the process of automatic accounting for contractor’s line items and for accrued income account and what’s more, informing via e-mail people taking part in the process, about the status of particular phases of the given process.
